Did anyone else notice that they 1. Werent going very fast at all, 2. The Dodge guy looked more annoyed than anything, like he prolly wasn't racing at all, the Hyundai was just speeding up and 3. Very stupid lookin' car (turbo or not). There's $4k blown...Would've been better off givin' it to a charity or something!

I think the whole point was they can make a crappy car whoop on a nice expensive car.

 

I'm pretty sure the SRT-10 would rip it a new one off the line. Anyway, i know a kid that has a Hyundai, i think its an Elantra (or maybe a Sonata) but anyway the guy has this big *** body kit on it and a fart can on the back. I'm like wtf did u get that for. This kid actually starts arguing that it give him better aerodynamics. I'm like are u a total dumb****? Not only does aerodynamics not even make a difference until 60-80mph, that body kit won't do ****. Then the guy is like he is gonna get a turbo, im liek who makes a turbo for a Hyundai. That was a pretty funny conversation.

 

yea, the guy in the srt10 just looks more annoyed than anything. and when he actually did floor it he zipped by the guy. dunno if i'd even say they were racing

 

Turbos are universal man. You can turbo ANY car. Turbo kits consist of the following.........


Turbocharger (universal...found on late dodges, many saabs and volvos.

Charge/intercooler piping. Can be custom ordered from www.jcwhitney.com

Intercooler. Again, universal. http://www.johnnyracecar.com/ has em for like 200 bucks.

Fuel Management. Some ECUs can be tuned, or just use the crappo SAFC.

So be careful when you say "They dont make a turbo for that!" Because SOMEONE at homeadeturbo.com will prolly do it.
