I was looking for the World Cup commercial (the Adidas one) and I found this

that was pretty cool...

 

Wow! The Veyron aint no track car, as proven there (probably the reason why it it hasnt gone round the top gear track) but how fast is it in a straight line, it just pulled like the lotus wasnt even moving. Cant even imagine what it would be like to drive that beast.

 

it just show massive horsepower ain't everything. a elise catching it in the curves is where its at

 

yeah. the vayron is must faster around a track. he was either toying with him or didnt know how to drive.

probably the latter. I can almost garauntee it was just some guy with WAAAY more money than driving skill

 

Although the Veyron driver might not of been the best I disagree that it would be alot faster round that track than the elise, Have any of you been in an elise? They can corner a lot faster than the big heavy veyron and out brake it to. Im not doubting its straight line speed as seen in the video and yes it would get away from the elise and win but on short straights like that there is only so fast you can go in a car like that before hitting the brake's. Power is nothing without control.

 

DEffinately the guy driving the Veyron does not know how to handle the power... sure it has 1001BHP stock, but i think that he was just scared to take it to its full potential arround those corners... and he didnt have the spoiler up which would have helped him alot. but man i would love to sit in the passenger seat of taht veyron.. i wouldn't want to drive it cause i would probably **** myself just sitting in the drivers seat lol

 

That is SOOO TRUE. But the Veyron is still an amazing piece of work. For those of you who haven't seen it already (or want to see it again lol), there's a very beautifully well-designed video showcasing the engine's feature in all its details.
