That is SOOO TRUE. But the Veyron is still an amazing piece of work. For those of you who haven't seen it already (or want to see it again lol), there's a very beautifully well-designed video showcasing the engine's feature in all its details.

I have a video of a F40 vs. a Lotus Elise in some european track...the F40 pulled away in straights but in every turn the Elise kept very close...

I totally agree with everyone here, but you can't knock on the veyron's handling, it's just as good as the lotus, if not better. IMO Who in the hell in their right minds would push that car to the limit on a track and risk wrecking it. (besides, it has a lot of ponies, and he was just toying with him in the turns, just look at his breaking in the corners(just a reminder, it has 4 front brake pads)) top speed of around 250<---

veyrons are not really made for turns, more for top speed....elise are specifically designed for turns. they are hella light and agile and also being able to pull 1 lateral g...when ur talking about tracks with turns, its all about handeling and driver skill level. go to an autox event and u'll see miatas running almost same times as vettes and such.
