I have the RS as well and it's a quiet BOV. Listen for just a quick "PSSHH" and that's it. It's nothing distinctive so it may be hard to hear.
OP, quick question. Why in the hell do you have a VAFCII and an Uberdata chipped ECU? Go with the Uberdata and get rid of the damn VAFC.

That's why you have IAT and ECT fuel and timing compensations. I'm chipped with Crome and the tune doesn't change. The VAFC is adding all of the timing you're pulling right back in, you've got way too many things going on there and with the VAFC your tuned ECU is a waste of money. Get rid of it, and get a correct tune done.
