Default My Dream trip *56k no waym Seriously 100+ pics.*

*Disclaimer, I am a HUGE ford fan, and that is why there are so many pictures of fords*

A lot of you may not know me, because I usually just hang out in the chopshop.....the reason Im at this site, but I decided to share my Trip with you car lovers. Hope you enjoy.

Well I was invited to go to Monterey California with my Aunt, Uncle and cousin, for the Pebble Beach Concourse De' Elegance, and an entire dream weekend. It started with going to the unveiling of the New Aston Martin DBs. We were invited to this because my Uncle has, arguably, the Best collection of Aston Martins in the world, and is probably one of their best, if not best customer. Here we met the Head of Aston Matin North America (who my uncle is on a first name basis with) and Adam Carrolla. On the next day we went to the Car show at the Quail lodge, with is "quickly rising to the top of the list for time-constrained auto cognoscenti". Many beautiful car, that I just couldn't believe. My uncle took best in class, which actually was quite a suprise. Later that night we went to the first night of the RM Autions, and watched a GT350R go for 775k, along with many other nice cars. On the third day, we went to Leguna Seca for the Rolex Monterey Historic Automobile Races. We got to go into the pits and check out all the cars that were racing. There were post war, pre war and moder classes, that were split into more specific races. Got to meet Jay Leno, and get my picture with him. We went back to the RM auctions that night, and saw an old Porsche go for 4.5M. On the last day we went to the actual Pebble Beach Concourse De Elegance. WOW is all I can say. I am guessing the average price for any one of the cars in the show was 10+ Million dollars. I could not believe some of the cars. It was just amazing.

By the way only 4-5 of these pictures are from the actual car shows, All the car show pics were taken by my film camera, and should be developed and up and a week. I will make a new thread for those.

Looks like you had a blast. I think that's the longest post I've ever seen...

1. The Aston Martin DBS is an absolute thing of beauty...
2. Curse the one who screwed up the Gallardo's paint...
3. Laguna Seca + historic racing cars...
4. I'm glad I have *** internet...
