i am still waiting for the gas happy.... when you sid "gas happy" i thought that you meant that you were revving it to like 6 grand a few times. but it sounds nice, what kinda exhaust system do you have on that??

 

i think it sounds good, has a quiet deeper tone to it

 

5Zigen FireBall GT Cat-Back Exhaust. I don't know how good 5Zigen is compared to others, but it is somewhat deep sounding. And no, I didn't get too gas-happy. I hit 6 twice though. I'll try and get a better clip. There IS something wrong with it though. Kind of sounds like a feather or like a card-in-a-bike-tire sound. Probably something to do with the resonator, cuz it didn't have that before it got installed. But it sounds fine anyway.

 

really you hit 6k rpm there?? wow didn't even sound like you were hitting 4500 at the peak, for an after market system that is pretty quiet

 

It sounds deeper when I'm driving, but it's hard to get a good clip of that unless I con my girl into getting out in the cold to tape it. I can tell when the (don't flame me) vtec kicks in, cuz it goes into a higher pitch. I can't feel it, but I can hear it...'bout 5k (when I'm in gear) the motor pitch gets higher. I think that's vtec. I don't know, it just sounds cool! I'll see if I can get a better clip one of these days and I'll hit the redline for ya! It just doesn't sound the same when I'm drivin' though
