that makes me never want to go on a bike

 

used to own one... almost died twice.

 

the gixxers became FI'd in 2001 for 600's and 1998 for 750's .....not sure for the 1000's....but for any gixxer i wouldnt go lower than an 01 but its just me

 

The new gixxer 1000 is about the same speed if not faster than the new R1's. I ride with guys that got both of them.

 

the kawasaki zx-10r(1000) ninja will outrun both of them.....and the zx-6r(600) is very nice as well

 

Im deff getting at least a 750. I was looking at a 2000 gixxer 750 today, why would you say 01 at the oldest?

 

whats the best entry level bike..i want something that i dont have to spend 100s of dollars a weekend to go across the state

 

01 b/c 00 and down have a bad lag when u yank back on the throttle...but its up to u ....and the best entry level bike if ou want somethin with power but not too much look for a 600...cuz if u get a 250 or 500 ull get unhappy with it a month after u get it

 

I used to have a CBR600 back when I was young and stupid. Me and my friend Matt were on our way home one night, and a drunk driver ran a stop stop sign, we both had to lay our bikes down. I lucked out and shot straight into the ditch suffering only minor cuts and bruises, Matt spent 2 weeks in intensive care... He's fine now, but its an experience neither of us will ever forget..


...the drunk driver ended up in jail, and he's damn lucky the cops got there when they did. He'd locked himself in his truck and I was going insane trying to get him and kill him, talk about seeing red......
