Default My New Suspension Set-Up

For those of you that don't know I recently bought and installed the tokico hpk suspension kit. I got it like two weeks ago, but with school, and me not really knowing what I was doing, it took me two weeks. I must admit though, that I am very proud of myself for doing it myself and i learned a WHOLE LOT about the suspension set up. I kind of just started undoing bolts and went from there (except for the rear which required two sawzawed bolts on each side). After riding on it for a while, it was exactly what I was looking for-improved handling and a small drop that wouldn't be too noticable. I didn't want any clearance issues anywhere, and I didn't want it to look slammed at all. Anyways, enough with the boring stuff and onto the pictures.

The drop is 1.25" in back and 1.4" in front. Like i said, i didn't really want it to look dropped unless you were looking for it so it was perfect for me. And no i haven't gotten my alignment yet, but i just finished today.

I have that very same set. I ****ing love them!!! The drop is just a bit over 1 1/2 inches for me. It looks really low on mine, but I have NO problems with clearance. Ride is really smooth, and tight. Your gonna love them!!!

Broken blinker--How much did you pay for your set? And where did you get it? Also did you remember to measure your ride height before you started? ((I only ask because I forgot to. LOL))

haha no, i forgot to measure the before ride hight. But i did the rears a week before the fronts(on the two weeends of the past to weeks) and they settled a bit, so im expecting the front to drop a little bit more in the next few days.

Oh yea, i forgot, i payed 386 for them shipped on sale from direct tuning. Next day i after i ordered, they took them down. Now they only sell the iluminas

Damn I ended up paying something like $440. On mine the rear ended up looking alot lower then the front just FYI.

Did you remember to cut your bump stops?

yeah bumpstops good. And tater, i don't really know, if you put fingers in both gaps they're about the same, maybe its that im used to seeing the rear higher, but they're about the same now and it kinda looks like the front is higher, but the front did go on today and the rear went on a week ago, so they might drop a bit more, but if not, im still digging it.
