My saab's dyno run
so if I lean it out and run cry02 or water injection to keep the temps down I theoretically will better resultswithout anything else done and will still have no detonation
yes...the reason was I wanted a baseline number. I really went **** to make sure it performs the way it should stock before modifying it...including the drop of the oilpan and flushing the engine twice and sending the oil to the lab.
compression and leakdown tests will be done this weekend.

They tell you if there are any metal shavings present, if there's gas present and some other things. Tells you a lot about the health of your engine. Sometimes you can even pin point where the shavigns are coming from based on their material.

you can do all that but IMO it is a bit overkill, I say just get a magnetic drain plug and when you drain your oil drain it into a clear/semi clear jug or container and if there is gas or coolant present it will seperate itself from the oil.

was there a reason you had it dynoed on a stock engine other than just curiosity?
