Somehow i missed this thread completely, nice ride man you cant even tell its turboed. All this time ive seen your sig about the Si and i didnt even think that you bought a Si....jeez i need to start paying more attention.
...dam thats a pretty sweet car you picked up..im kinda jealous right now,congrats on it!

Oh yea! It is ungodly fast. It frightened the crap out of me when I took it on the bridge. Its pretty sweet, and clean. However, the f'n hood opener snapped off on me because its so tight. Ill have to sit down and figure out how to replace it.
I do have some concern though, there is a tad of oil around the manifold and turbo. and I smell a bit of it too. Any ideas?

Take the intake and filter off and look inside the turbo. All turbo's leak a lil bit. I guess if you can take a pic where it is leaking and pm it to me and i'll try and help you hunt it down.

Whew... im like Tony and I freak out over the small crap. But yea, its nothing huge that I see of. I have to figure out how to get the hood open now so I can get in into the engine bay lol. Anybody ever had that happen to them?
The 'smoke' it blows is def oil. It not that much smoke at all. Like it blows out what a smoker does on the average drag of a cancer stick. And its very discreet and does it only ever so often. Other than that, the car runs perfect. The B16 sounds a lot different than a D16 by far. It kinda has a deisel ring to it only very very very slightly.
The turbo is uber quiet... I cant really hear it. The Vtec is loud and sounds pretty cool. The bov whistles pretty good too. Its running 8psi on the boost gauge so it doenst have internals. Which is kinda good because this is my DD and im going to baby the hell out of it.
The clutch is kinda hard becuase of the racing clutch but ill get used to it. The short throw shifter it has is cool but im not a big fan of a low shifter.
