Ok. ive neglected to tell you guys but my DC chit shifter snapped on me at the ****. Also come to find out, the oem shift **** was stripped out form the DC shifter.

So I set out to score an awesome shifter. I was tired of first and reverse gear fighting me and tired of almost dislocating my shoulder everytime to throw into 5th.

I decided to do a very unique setup. I heard that CTR shifters were awesome and instead I got an ITR (Integra Type-R) shifter and a 2007 Civic EX 5 speed shift ****. I was going to get the Si but its a 6 speed and would look kinda stupid in my car. Function and formality is all what im about so the EX **** it was.
I had to customize the new ITR shifter to fit in the linkage by cutting it down where it attached. I did it perfect so no worries. I also slapped in Energy bushings while I was at it.

Anywho, final results were AMAZING. The shifter is smooth as an M3 (yes I know what that feels like). I can drive the car smoother and the gears dont fight me anymore. I can also reach into 5th without trouble too! I strongly recommend this setup if you are looking for a new shifter.

signs you have lots of car trouble:

you carry a hydraulic floor jack in your trunk

also, how short are you? your seat looks like it's all the way forward


other than that, the shifter looks nice

 

Lol. No I dont have car troulbe. Ive been meaning to get that big *** jack out the trunk from the install, but im lazy.
