Ok, first off, this has just been one big pain in my ***. My father bought me springs for christmas (Tein S-Techs) but I wanted to wait for new struts to put them on. However, the temptation was too strong and I went to put them on. Like always, the LCA bolt broke and i just didn't really have time to drill it out. I know a guy who owns a garage and said he'd fit me in. I took the car there on a Sunday night (Dec 16). I asked my friend if he could take out the other side and replace it (since I had gone to Honda and bought replacements at $9 a piece which isn't too bad). He said sure and that since he would be halfway there, he would just put the springs on. So even though I wanted to do it, I figured what the hell, just in case there were more problems. So for three days, I had to drive my mom's Accord (I hate automatics) and on Wednesday he calls and says they've only put 2 hours into it. I was kinda mad but I thought that he's fitting it in so I'll be grateful. Thursday he calls and says it is done and I'm pretty excited. I get there and it is still like 4x4 offroad fury. He gave me some b/s excuse about not wanting to do it in case of breaking a strut. So I figured fine, I get to do it now which is exciting in my opinion. The new bolts were in and from reading, it shouldnt be too bad and I was gonna go to my dad's and use the air tools he has. Anyway, I get the bill and give a huge WTF. He wants $530 to replace the two bolts. I basically told him he's full of it that it doesnt take almost 8 hours to do it (since he told me it took 1.5 hours to drill out the broken one). I gave him $225 and I'm glad he left it at that because I was gettin pretty angry. Anyway, the story is over, and here are pics! Took me about 4 hours by myself to do it (first timer).
