Everything is installed. I will try and get pictures tomorrow but by the time I get home from work it is dark. The car has an awesome stance and the car handles great. Next thing will be paint on the hood and the trunk in January and then the car will pretty much be complete.

Ugh I am heading up to Grand Rapids this weekend, I am sure Tony will have the camera out and be shooting pictures. I just can't get any cause I get up and leave at 6:30 am and then get home around 5:30......all darkness!!!!

Hopefully we can find an hour or so to shoot out and get some pics. Found a couple decent locations last weekend.
Something tells me Garage Destruction '09 may consume our entire day. If that's the case we'll at least get some solid driveway, hardparked action shots!
As for the story of me driving the STi... Let's start by saying that if you're going to build and "spiritedly" drive a StageII STi, do NOT skimp on tires. Previous owner put a set of ****ty Nexens on there that can only be compared to driving on rounded rocks. No road feel/feedback what so ever. Oh, and grip? fuggittaboutit!
So anyway, we're cruisin back to my place, and I'm about to make a left turn. There was a van coming up the road the other way, which kept me from throwing the car into the turn as aggresively as I'd wanted (this, you will soon find out, was a good thing..). I says to Tyler "damnit, I wanted to get a little sideways there." To which he replies "just give it some gas.."
Mind you, we're coming from a nearly dead stop, in second gear, taking a soft turn, and I gave it MAYBE 40% throttle. The *** end of that car snapped around like a damn whip and I nearly ended up in someone's front yard.
Shortly there after, knowing the tendencies of the tires, I gave it another go on a right hander. Held on to that one much better and boy does that car ever scream.. 1st, 2nd, 3rd and you're already going way too fast for side streets.
Once Tyler gets some nice grippy tires on that thing, it's going to be retardedly fun to throw through the twisites.
Cliff notes: Stage 2 STi + **** Tires = me in someone's front yard. The end
