Well about a month ago I purchased a cf headliner and I got it installed after the three week delay. Just uploaded the photo, not the best but figured it'd be worth showing.

DAMN!!! I really dont like CF, but that looks killer. how much was it? Didn't they do that on Tricked out awhile back? Post a few more pixs of it. nice work.

I got if off of a seller on H-T, the company that makes them is www.topshopheadliners.com . I purchased it for $450 and it took about two-three weeks to get it (had an issue with the zip code listed). That pic was mainly a shot to show it's actual carbon fiber and to show how relfective it is, I'll get a better shot in a bit (well as good as my cell does).

For the why, it's simple: cause I could and I like cf.

and just so I get it out of the way: YES I know it doesn't help lighten the car up, wasn't intended to nor is the sub or full interior.
