it looks like your fenders and front bumper are a darker silver than the rest of your car.

had the same problem on my car when I had the hood/bumper repainted

it's the silver... it's impossible to color match properly

why can't you just use the oem paint code on the car and match it up perfectly?

it's an 8+ year old car, paint is bound to fade, and a fade is pretty hard to match

I agree about the paint fading. paint will fade after time. It doesnt matter what color it is, its going to fade.

paint fade.[:@]
plus, this is how paint code works
My car was made in July 1999 (my car is 2000 EX). Every months or every couple hundreds of civic was made. the fatory paint shop mixed many different paint "bucket". So the silver of a July civic would be different from a December civic.

Now, the paint shop i went to tried as hard as they could to find out about my car's paint bucket...lol...it s not match up so well...but you can not tell the different with bare eyes

I had no problems with my painted skirts on the civic. Its all in the prep work
but yours were painted from the factory.
True. But they were painted a second time. ButI guess paint over paint isdifferent than paint over plastic
