"Hey, what can I do that will totally make it really f***in' hard to work in my engine bay? I know! I'll flip the hinges around on my hood! That sounds cool and completely safe! Now let's see if I can't find the cheapest hood pins around."

 

All you have to do is drill through your hood a few times so it's really hard to get your hood back to normal when you realize it sucks!

they also porovidie directions to make a "floating" hood...and that one involves zipties...

well they actualy make kits for the hoods BUT thats for a fullsize chevy truck....


i almost put one on my old truck... had the hinges and everything from a buick that came stock with that forward folding hood...

tho they use the stock hood latch and they have some SLIDES and a catch on the rear to hold the hood down tight... perfectly safe...
