And the shocker (relating to cars, anyway) was started by a car club out in Cali... everyone saw it, thought it was m4d jdm tyte y0!, and decided they were going to put it on their car. Just like every other import trend out there.

And Shocker is just a cool symbol. One that people in your "JDM" world consider an acceptable vinyl.
