If you don't mind me asking, what did you pay for the V/C? I got buddy with powder coating equipment and am trying to work out a deal with him where i can use it for a fee, and sell "pretty parts"

 

i paid 160 shipped for it. i guess i could have re painted my original b16 v/c but i didt know how to give it the same textured look as the type r v/c. but at local race shops these go for 250

 

Cool, 160 isn't bad at all. You can spray them with "wrinkle finish" but it's just not quite the same as what you've got there. Powder coating is really the best way to go if you're looking for texture iMO

 

i might try powder coating my original b16 v/c if you ever try it out lemme know ill be a customer, lol. hell i got some extra v/c for ya if ya want to play with em, i got my d15 sohc one and my orig b16 v/c

not quite, i did get a 10k check though, lol. also i just installed my new ceramic pads and rotors and i found that my caliper on my passenger side is leaking a lil bit so i get to get new calipers tomorrow and paint them. also i get my new black corner lights tomorrow, wooot!

 

It's looking good man. I want to see it with the new paint, when are you getting that done?



Forty, if I send you a valve cover could you get it powder coated? If so, how much?
