So you're going to run a high powered RWD year round, and a fwd as a summer only car? I know your civic is sick, no doubting that. Just seems like the direct opposite of alogical choice

The Civic is not a fun car to daily. It's really low, extremely loud, obnoxiously unresponsive under 5K, has a never ending stench of 93 octane, it's not comfortable, I have to worry about where I drive and park it, I have to lock it with a ball, chain, and gattling gun so it's there when I get back, I have so much money invested in it I don't want to get it smacked up (again...) and I have to park the car in a college parking lot 5 days of the week. It has no AC, during the summer it's around 115* in the cabin, and did I mention it gets **** for gas mileage? Oh, it gets **** for gas mileage (23ish if I'm lucky). It has drag radials up front, wet weather is slippery as ***** and the suspension is set up for drag so the car has some seriously bad understeer. The clutch is nasty, driveable but nasty. I don't know, if you came for a ride with me in traffic on a hot summer day with the car beginning to get really hot as the stench of gas sticks to you you'd probably understand.
That being said, the car is fast and fun as hell on nice open road. It was worth every bit of money I put into it and I will never stop loving the sound of the Dseries at 8K spinning the tires. However, it's just not a car anyone would want to drive every day, and I have been for the past year.
The Camaro goes 12s stock, or I can just cruise in and out of traffic with the AC blowing and the tunes going at 1200rpms in 6th gear. No really, if you ever get a chance to get a ride in one or drive one yourself take it up. My dad has been against this whole buying a Camaro thing for the past 2 months that I've been talking about it. I threw him the keys today, he hit 110, slowed down, and said "ok, so when do I get to drive it to work?" [8D]
For those of you who don't know, my dad is a Honda mechanic of 25 years.
The Camaro most likely will stay mostly stock until I get tired of the Civic and sell it (which probably won't be for a while). However, bolt ons, a 4:10 rear and a tune the car is good for mid 11s.[:-] So you we'll see lol.
