well now that i think about it i have him beat, i have had the ring since i was 6 year old. it was my grandmothers and i inherited it when she passed away. don't know if/when i will use it though lol

 

OMG 20k man!! I just proposed to my GF and got her a whitle gold diamond solitare for $700.00 and she said I could have went cheaper but thats the ring she liked the best. ^^It's a little over kill... a 20 grand ring on your finger doesn't say love. It's more like saying im rich, but hey congrats anyways bro!!!! I'll prolly be getting married in 08 after I finish college this year.

 

I just cant believe that one... I dont know why...how big is the diamond and what do you do to make payments on it? What is the wedding band you're getting along with it? My wife's engagement ring alone is a 2ct diamond solitaire in white gold and it ran me $16,000 and two 1/4 ct wedding bands soldered on each side that were just about 600 each. I had a career when I was engaged and still didnt finish my payments until last August- about a little less than a year after marriage. This is the engagement ring pic from a year ago. I just cant imagine a 20 grand ring from someone looking so young, and in a honda civic... post it up or something. Just by stating a ridiculous price like that (in parenthesis especially) like it is just a drop in a bucket makes it seem like you guys just went ring shopping recently and saw a huge one. I really apologize if I am proven wrong.
