just got back from the formula racing in st. pete... man was it impressive!! it was a 100 lap race.. and unfortunately we got showered on right before it started so they had to run the first 8 laps under caution until they were able to dry off the track enough... it was great! few wipeouts but nobody got seriously hurt. Coolest thing was that a 19 year old kid won the race and it was his first time racing in the circuit... I forgot his name - also, the venezuelan guy was super cool... they cut us off as we were leaving to move all the cars and crew and as the venezuelan passed by a person shouted at him in spanish. The dude looked at him, smiled, came by and took a pic with him, then turned around and let the guy take a pic of him with his gf. Seemed like a really friendly guy that cares about his fans. In all it was a great experience.
