Now that i look at it it does look more like a dolphin then a shark... the tail fin look horizontal like a dolphin, and not vertical like a shark

 

looks like a shark to me, a dolphin's head is narrow-er i think

 

^ Depends on what type of dolphin, and with that pic it is too hard to tell what kind it is

 

defiantely a dolphin, look at the back fin the shark's back fins is curved different

 

it is a shark, I picked it up from a article along *** time ago about how el nino(sp?) was bringing warm waters and great whites up into popular surfing spots in so cal and around the baja portion of mexico

Yeah, second shot here is clearly dolphin. But the original one looks so shark-like!

 

It's definitely a dolphin. It's even harder to tell when you're out there on the board. The first time I saw a dolphin like that I literally almost pooped my shorts. You always think "Oh, Flipper is friendly" but when you're sitting out in the ocean on a piece of foam and plastic and a 1,000 lb animal swims under you it's f'ing scary.

 

i don't give a **** what it was, if i was him i would need a new wet suit.
