torque your lug nuts.
He had the size right, it was the thread that was wrong. When he torqued them on they felt tight and under normal street driving conditions they were fine. But once he put it into the high Gs from autocross they just ripped right off.

... wow.... that absolutely blows... I can't imagine how much it's going to take to fix that poor rx7... well, I guess the damage could have been worse, and nobody got hurt.
nobody got hurt? some people consider cars as people.. er, as important as people. that car was probably his baby, and its going in for surgery... poor car, i smell a law suit brewing!
I love how there is one guy who's just like "We're only missing one, though", completely ignoring the fact that the car is sitting on the ground with no tires and just skidded a few feet.
