Didn't even see this post. Sorry if my post sound "jerkish." Are you planning on upping the boost soon or after you get it tuned.

 

Not to sound "jerkish," but I seriously doubt he is going to run 2psi. Like he said he is just making sure he doesn't blow the welds on the intake manifold or tear off any pieces of his floorboard. I am assuming he just wanted to share the fact that it's running and let us hear the BOV.

But my woman still thinks it's slow.

 

O i know he won't keep it at 2 psi. I was just wondering when he planned on upping it. I know he has plans on getting it tuned but I was wondering mroe baout the timing of all of it. Jerkish isn't even a word...

Yea, when I first saw the vid, not knowing it was only 2 PSI, I was like damn, my civic now is just as fast. Also, you said you didn't have it floored? Man I tell ya those auto trannys are weird, can't tell what they're doing. Nice vid though.

 

Ok about this 2 PSI. The boost gauge shows the wastegate being set at about 5.5-6PSI. For those who misunderstood what i said here it is. I WATCHED THE BOOST GAUGE AND LET OFF THE GAS AS SOON AS IT HIT 2 PSI. Thats what it took to get a loud PHHHHSSST from the BOV. I took it up to 6 PSI once, and it moves pretty damn good.

 

well damn it dude, couldn't you take it to 6psi just once for the cam BTW, have you every tried shifting that thing manually and take it up to 7g? Although with that much boost, I honestly dont know what the tranny will think of it.

 

ive gotta fix the blue box man. Why risk it?
