ahhh.. the fun you can have with a corvette engine swap in a civic...

 

I like the rear wheel drive more than the engine in a civic but combined oh my god i think i would need a change of pants

 

BAHAHAH!! i see no drifting there that was just him spinning out all the time,

 

actually, i think he night have made it rear wheel drive and doesn't know how to control it with the V8 engine. maybe just a little too much power for him to handle.

But i've seen that video before and all off my drifter friends have said the same thing you're sayin ...

2 things.

That car makes an ungodly amount of power. I don't think you guys understand, that car a 1/4 throttle will spin the tires it makes so much torque and has no weight to make the tires stick.

The car is also not setup up for drifting, the geometry of the whole thing is way way off. The suspesion from the corvette is also made for sticking, not spinning. If you've ever looked into how a drift car is set up, they are set up so that driving them straight is damn near impossible, they WANT to slide, it's easier to control them that way. This car not so much, it either wants to go straight or not at all.
