man, i hate the fact that i dont have a car worthy to compete in the gt championship, that my gallardo isnt enough to win the tuned car championship, that jeff gordon clearly likes boys and placed cones too closely to the wall at daytona, that awd midengined cars handle poorly, that i broke a controller in a fit of rage, and that sebastian loeb is clearly dating jeff gordon because gt5 rally sux, and the fact that i dont have a steering wheel. /rant

 

The Special Challenges are infuriating. I have All Gold in the nascar beginner and intermediate with the exception of the Outside Daytona one. Im level 15 so far. the Tarmac rally events **** me off. I race my *** off in my evo and I still end up like 7 seconds behind.

My buddy's dad had one of those vans way back when. Although it was slow, it wasn't THAT slow! RAGE!

I'm going to dedicate at least 4 or 5 hours to this game tonight, can't wait to get into some faster cars. The most fun I've had so far is in my modded 280z, what a fun little car.

 

^ same here going to play 3-4 hours.. started playing yesterday and got to level 4 and still with my ctr. I need some better cars.

 

im level 16, trying to get to 17 so i can race the gallardo cup and sell that piece of ****. i get destroyed in the tuned car cup and the gt cup cuz i cant afford a "name brand" car. i build em myself, and they suk teh sak. i wasted all my monies early on on things like 71 mustang, rs200, stupid crazy 1,000,000rwhp miata that wasnt even driveable. now all i have is my faithful 2g rx7, the gay-yardo, the kart (pure win), and some other various jalopies and hoopties. dumb buick special. dumb dome zero.

 

re amemiya rx7 FTW. BUY IT to beat the tuned car cup, and the turbo car cup. i beat ALL the kart challenges (last 2 races are worth 119,000 apiece). level 19 now. my ferrari italia was a good investment. won the ferrari cup unchallenged. MR cup has me angry. i hate the way a MR car handles, but at least it isnt to noticeable when piloting the italia. got a cool mil in the bank, but nowhere near enough to get my gran turismo all time favorite car, the mazda 787b 4 rotor lemans prototype. pure sex.

 

I used the McLaren F1 stealth for the Tuned car cup and the Gran Turismo Championship.

I bought a Ferrari 599 figuring since it has the same motor as the Enzo without the 1,000,000 price tag, then I tried to use it in that Ferrari only race and got my *** handed to me. You said you used the 458 Italia? Was it pretty easy to beat with that car?

 

 

i EASILY won the ferrari cup. after a little creative "drafting" of the enzo into turn one on lap one. **** on that enzo.
