Default 1984 Honda VF500F Interceptor $1200 OBO

Location: Philadelphia, PA
Price: 1200 OBO

For sale is a 1984 Interceptor. I've been riding this to work for a while now. Rode it in sub 30* temps and rode it on days in the high 90s. It's a good bike for a beginner (which I was when I got it). The bike has professionally rebuilt carbs, new tires, a new(er) used fuel pump, all signals work, brake pads are around 90%. Feel free to check it out (PM me and I'll bring it out in NE Philly). Comes with a bike cover. It has been dropped by my n00b *** once and there's a dent in the tank from that. Clutch lever is therefore new since the old one was bent. Other than that there's usual old bike rust spots and blemishes. Really, it's a bike for someone to learn on, have a year of fun on and pass it on to another beginner. It's been great to me and it will be great to you. I'm just ready to pick up a KLR650 and I can't have 2 bikes.

Yes, I own a Honda. It's 1984, RWD, gets 60mpg and is faster than almost anything on this forum.
AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW

I get it now

Never knew you were right down the street in Philly Stiffler. Bump for you

I wish I had extra cash to throw around and time to learn to ride a bike.

Not necessarily in Philly, just 30 minutes away (West Chester). I am in S. Philly almost all the time visiting friends, meeting up to buy/sell car parts off of Craigslist, and to get some amazing food from the Jade Palace on South 5th street.

I'm down for meets, I just never see anything in that section of the forum, nor do I get any PM's about them. haha

Once I'm finished modding/spending all my money on the Civic, I'll end up venturing and buying a small starter bike to have and mess around on. I would just have to check insurance rates and all that junk. Bump again for you although your FS thread is at the top.

Is the price too high or is there no interest?

I'd say it's half everyone's broke and half there's not a ton of motorcycle interest on the forums. I assume you have it listed on CL? What about eBay?

Either way, good luck with the sale Gene.
