Up for sale is a 1992 Honda Civic LX 4 door as stated above in the title. Car has possibly 250,000 miles on it. The speedometer quit working at 205,000 miles and that is where the odometer stopped recording the mileage. The pictures below pretty much describe the car. The hood is a different color as my brother hit a deer while driving along the highway... so the radiator bar is a bit bent as seen in that picture, but that was the only damage sustained. The only rust is on the back fender of the passenger side, also pictured. My friend has offered me $650 for the car so she can use it as a parts car for her Civic. I think I could get more than that... so if you have an offer... let me hear it. The wheels are included with the car. Unfortunately the car is an automatic, it does have a new distrubutor, and a new muffler on it, both stock parts however, and a brand new battery, installed 3 days ago. I cant believe i forgot to mention this... but i wasnt the owner when this was done... but the engine was rebuilt. I do know the mechanic that did it, as he is the same one that replaced my distributor. So im going to get the specs of all that he did and at what mileage hopefully tomorrow. Ill post it up when i get it.

Also, i am technically the 3rd owner of the car. A lady that goes to my church bought it brand new. She sold it to my brother about 4 years ago, and he sold it to me about a year ago.

 

i was talking to the mechanic that overhauled my engine... and he forgot to bring the paperwork with him, but he said that if he remembers correctly the engine was done at about 170-180,000 miles. so the engine is still in good shape and has plenty of life in it. then again maybe you are interested in a swap... either case, i have an offer pending for $800 at the moment.
