2004 civic si parting out
my buddy was rear ended in his i think it was his 2004 civic si last week and was totaled and is selling everything he can to make money because he had no insurance(dumbass) and now he has to pay off a loan for a car he can't drive. all parts are available. everything from the back wheels back is destroyed, (hatch, rear bumper, etc.) and everyhting in front of them is pretty much o.k. drive train is perfect as was not bothered at all.
i believe he said there was about 20k on the car when it happened. he got a quote for the complete rear of a car for about $3k and we know a body show that will do the body work for about another $2k not including paint. title will be free and clear because insurance company did not total the car. our buddy put a mechanics lean on the title and is getting it so it will be free and clear. he would perfer to sell the car as whole but will part if necessary.
will get pics up hopefully tomorrow, we are going to the body shop it is at. we are located in houston.

ok i was just at the body shop where the car is and here are the details.
it is actually a 2003, and has about 32,000 miles.
My biddy would perfer to sell the whole car $3500 OBO. Not bad since drive train alone is worth about $2k. Also talked to the body shop and was told for about $8,000 he would rebuild and paint and everything and you would baisically get a brand new car. it will have a free and clear title, NOT A SALVAGED TITLE. he would want half now and half upon completion of the car,
