heres the lowdown on the car. from aftermarket parts, to history, to current health. i will give you best and most honest description that i can about the car and since its been in my ownership. if i was selling a perfect, used car, then of course i'd expect a perfect high price.. but since it isn't, it priced decently low compared to the market out there on MR2's.


1st off: 91' n/a chassis w/ T-tops. Crimson Red (has been resprayed by previous owner). 124k and some change on the chassis, 123k on the US 3sgte motor and trans. you couldn't get a closer swap then that. when i did the swap, the motor had just shy of 100k on it, and the chassis had just a bit over 100k. EVERYTHING that basically makes a turbo model a turbo has been swapped to this chassis excluding Fog Lamps(in which i just didn't have the money at the time for), and leather door inserts and seats. everything but the vin# too no power steering, no ABS, no a/c system. ready to be a race car period.

paint is about a 6 1/2-7 out of 10 not bad, but definitely not perfect. currently the hood is black and so is the headlight covers. i liked it, it grew on me, but they're from a stock black turbo. i do have the stock Crimson pieces, but they need to be resprayed.

History from previous owners via Carfax: the car was in two fender benders. one involving the driverside fender, and the other the pass. door. when i first got the car, i could see the driverside fender was repaired and beginning to rust. I repaired that w/ a new fender and paint. no worries there. the Second repair was made to the door. they tried to bondo it for repair. i have a replacement door that im putting on in Crimson Red, so no worries there. Both accidents did not impair the car at all, and since ownership, i have/will repair them.

3sgte/aftermarket parts/body:
new oem gaskets, mainly bottom end stuff and some top end stuff. alot of general maintenance stuff. no worries on that.
new T-Belt and Tensioner at 100k
HFH and HFHOE replaced along w/ oil cooler gaskets
new alt belt and alternator
turbo has less miles then the motor, just a stock ct-26. it had 70k at the swap.
I use Mobil 1 super clean 5000 10w30 and Lucas oil addative every time. not full synthetic because i didn't know what the previous owner put in.
new O2 sensor
new battery
tune up every 2 months: cap/rotor/plugs/wires.
new open element intake filter and adapter plate
K.O. 2 1/2" downpipe
ATS throttle inlet
Apex'i GT exhaust from DP back. sizing goes 3" B-pipe to 3 3/4 rear section single exit to drivers rear. pretty loud, but not annoying. comes w/ Apex'i silencer
Apex'i twin chamber BOV plus stock BPV
Two's r us MBC, (not installed)
new knock sensor
new coil
new various hoses, etc.
Speedsource full poly motor mount kit.
she's pretty stock w/ basic bolt ons, so thats a good thing.

suspension:
Full Tein HA coilovers w/ wrenches
Tein pillowball mounts
Tein front camber plates and front endlinks
93+ rear swaybar w/ poly bushings
newer ball joints all around
new tie rod ends in the front
High and Tight rear endlinks (red)
Turbo front and rear calipers painted red
newer brakes all around
new fluids

wheels/tires:
comes w/ 2 sets of stocker 14's. both more or less need tires. one set is black
currently equipped: w/ 16" Mille Miglia MM11's +35ET all around on brand new BF Goodrich G-sports 205-45r-16 (CAN REMOVE AFTERMARKET WHEELS TO DROP THE PRICE!!)
5mm spacers all round

body:
black hood/headlight covers from a black turbo
painted trim moldings(have to finish the rest from the fender back)
pretty stock, no aftermarket bodykit, etc.
resprayed, doesn't look bad when polished. various chips here and there.
Stock turbo engine lid

Interior:
leather rapped steering wheel OEM, and leather rapped e-brake handle. both brand new, both for turbo models.
oem Turbo seats w/ adjustments on driverside. little rip in the driver seat, not bad though.
93' shifter w/ RSE drop plate, Speedsource shifter base bushings.
new shifter cables
newer shifter boot
Turbo center storage box
newer ashtray in working condition (one small crack, not bad)
turbo cluster w/ accurate mileage w/ the motor.
Omori boost gage in stock location +25psi/30hg
OEM t-top shades/bags
blue clock
new switches
black interior is in great shape, period.

OEM factory stuff:
BGB, all the manuals for 91'
stock t-top bags
spare/jack and bag
OEM owners manual

bads:
no a/c....at all. the complete system has been removed from the front heat exchange to the compressor. it saved 50lbs. plus the car is T-tops, who needs a/c
needs some paint in the future, but you can live w/ the current paint. again, its not perfect, and im not the original owner so i can't help some of its previous owners faults. looks good for what it is.

overall, the car runs great, and still looks good. i still get alot of compliments on it period. EVERYTHING done on this car was done by me, and i've taken care of it since it been in my ownership the best i can. you can check my credibility on MR2oc.com under the local (Midwest) forums.

i know that most people can't get a loan for this car from a bank so i am putting it out there that i will consider partial trades or strait up trades if your car is clean and nice.

will consider clean EG hatchbacks w/ swaps B18's or B16's. hit me back w/ what you have. i also like EK and EG coupes.

6500OBO or will take partial trades.
