92? Civic Si one owner Indianapolis
I am posting this for my grandmother, yes my grandmother, it seems my uncle(who lives with his mom) has his civic brokedown in the garage and isn't doing anything with it. This is what I know about the car....it's about a 1992 (that body style) red Si with a bit of rust over the rearwheel wells. My uncle had it serviced by the dealership and they never fixed the problem. The problem is (according to my uncle) the fuel pump runs intermittently(sp?). He says that sometimes it will start and he can drive it and other times it will not start. I looked at the milage and it is around 150K. My uncle bought this car new so it's a one owner. He does want to get rid of it but just has'nt made the move. If someone is interested and you shoot me an email then I will give your info to my uncle and he will email you back. The car is in Indianapolis (northside).

I will ask my uncle what he thinks he should get for the car. I can't find the charger to my camera...guess I could take picture phone pics but those would really suck.
ok I just read the "rules" I will get a pic and find out the exact year and a price. Maybe I will just have my uncle log onto this forum himself.

Its a 1990 and has 149K. I will take some pics sunday. My uncle said $1000.00 was cool. The problem is more fuel system related than just the fuel pump. He said it seemed like the injectors would not fire at times. It has had the fuel pump relay, resistor and something else replaced. I forgot just how well my uncle kept cars...the interior on this thing looks really good. Its on its original clutch! That alone should give an indication on how much he babies his cars. He said the clutch doesn't slip or nuttin and you can still smoke the tires. He did replace the timing belt at some point. I will get pics.
Tell your uncle I'm in Bloomington about 50 miles south of Indy, I'll give him $500 cash as is. I have the money in hand. If he wants to wait for a higher offer then fine but if he decides he wants to let it go for $500 then give me a call. 812-360-5902. I'm not trying to insult him with a lowball, I just need a body to put a motor of mine in. I just need a rolling chassis.
