I picked up this tranny looking to do an auto to manual swap but i dont really have the money to buy the rest of the parts right nowand i just picked one up from a buddy for free. I am located in Menasha, Wi and would be willing to ship at the buyers expense. It has 90,xxx miles and it is in great condition, no shaft play at all, no grinds, no cracks, dings, etc. Im lookingto get$220 obo. or willing to trade for cf hood, cf trunk lid, or red Rota Gt3's or Drag Dr16's.

I started to clean it but havent got to the bottom yet.

Is this tranny similar to what would be found in a d16z6 or d15b? Is it out of a vtec car? (si) Sorry just not sure, but I am interested as well

 

the d16y8 tranny is from a 96-98 civic ex vtec, .. looks good but 220 is a little steep... good luck with the sale...

 

$220 steep? Please! Youll rarely find one cheaper than that. The shipping quote to 32003 is around $70.
