What kind of miles are on it. I'll take the transmission of your hands. How could you ship this. Would you thow a piece of wood on top, bottom, and 4 posts. Throw a tranny bolt to the wood. You could send it UPS to me, and I can use my account for it.

will UPS take something of this weight? i could separate the linkage and ship that and the CV joints as a separate package. if UPS will let me ship a trans slapped on a piece of wood i would make a small pallet just large enough for the tranny.

i believe it has around 75k miles on it, it was bought as part of a package deal because i needed the motor for a repair job (and the motor ran fine so i have no reason to believe the trans doesnt)

let me know about UPS and i'd be happy to ship it over to you.

UPS has a freight service and they can ship things of this size and bigger, I'd say price check around with UPS freight, Fed Ex freight, Estes and such to see what the costs are CLICK ME (google seach for freight in tampa). Also (being in the industry) I'd suggest massive overkill on shipping packaging, I see engine's and transmissions come thru my work all the time and there are some that are safe n secure (full solid cretes) and others... well less than so (motors and trans sitting on a pallet shrink wrapped and that's it...).

hope this helps

Ups ground will take it, because it weighs under 150 lbs. Here is what it looks like

Basically you can open box it up.like that, as long as it is drained then you will be good. The transmission weighs approximately 102 lbs, and the thing should be like 20x22x24. Shipping should be about 60-70 bucks then. Freight would be a little more, about 100 bucks for it. I prefer cheap. I ship tranny's out from time to time, and get them in this way. Can put it on my UPS shipping account.
