i've got a '99 DX Coupe with an ebay short shifter. Would the bushings fit?

 

I'm pretty sure they do. I think it's any 96-00 Civic.

100% honesty: I just installed a short shifter, I tried without the bushings and then with. In my opinion, the bushings made a big improvement. They made the shifting firmer and more positive... you knew when it was all the way in gear instead of being kinda mushy you know?

Faster shifts=faster acceleration.

There are two bushings, one that hold the back end of the shifter linkeage and one that holds the front. The type of shifter lever you have doesn't make a difference.
