I won this car in a contest online, but when I entered, I didn't know that when you win a sweepstakes, you have to pay taxes on the prize's retail value as if you had earned the money at your job. So, when after adding up federal, state, and county sales tax, it's just way too expensive for me to keep this car...

If anyone out there is interested, let me know! Since you would be buying it from a private owner, instead of winning it, you would not be required to pay any tax at all! The car is still in the process of being customized, so I don't even have possession of it yet, but this is legit... I have the VIN #. In fact, they originally shipped the uncustomized car to my local Honda dealership by mistake, instead of to the sweepstakes sponsor in California where it is being customized, so I have seen the car... it exists, and it's official that I have won it... If you're serious about buying it, I can send you copies of the paperwork, and will of course send actual pictures of the car once it is delivered (they are telling me it will probably be end of January/beginning of February).

My local Honda dealership has agreed to keep the car in their showroom and sell the car for me on consignment, but I'd obviously rather sell it myself and cut out the middleman!

If you know anyone who is a big Dashboard Confessional fan and a big Civic fan, this is the car for them! Let them know this is their chance to own one of only ten cars like this in the world.

CUSTOM PAINT
Features a Nighthawk Black Pearl base coat with a fade up to metallic silver. Featured on either side are airbrushed stripes reflecting the tattoo artwork that appears on lead singer Chris Carrabba’s arms. The hood features the band’s dove logo. Included on the Civic’s bumper is the quote “Fight the Good Fight,” taken from a lyric to one of the band’s songs. It is highlighted with singer Chris Carrabba’s autograph on the driver’s side.

CUSTOM SUEDE SEATS
The interior features customized seats embroidered with the band’s DC lightening bolt logo in metallic silver stitching. Red suede highlights the seat inserts, and interior trim accents. The silver stitching continues on the customized floor mats, which feature the Dashboard Confessional eagle logo. Topping off the interior is a dash pad with the word “Confessional” embroidered in red.
