well here it is... since i bought my alpine radio and bought a sirius tuner for it to direct plug so i can work my sirius thru my radio now...
SO i dont need this unit anymore and i dont need a tuner anymore either....

its a sirius sportster replay... WHICH IS THE SWEETEST MODELS ID SAY IS THE ONES THAT HAVE REPLAY......
two of the COOLEST FEATURES that unfortunatly my new tuner doesnt have... is the REPLAY...... its just that.... you listen to a good @ss song and want to heat it again... just push the replay back button and it replays the song! and it goes back to 45min of replay... but you have to listen to that radio station for it to save it into the replay.. i believe if ya turn the station the replay resets... but NONE THE LESS ITS GREAT FOR THAT KILLER SONG YOU KNOW YOU LOVE AND YOU WANT TO REPLAY IT... or if your like me and just dont what these SWEET songs are called or who sings them the name and song title are displayed!
and TO THE SECOND SWEETEST FEATURE... if you like that one song.. lets say ZOOM ZOOM.... push the store button and NO MATER WHAT STATION it comes on... WHEN IT COMES ON it will notify you on the screen that one of your favorite songs is starting to play... ya push the button and it takes you right to that station to keep you jammen to your favorite songs... i believe its like 10-20 storable titles...
and my personal favorite talk channel.... playboy radio... sorry no pictures popen up.LOL but a funny @ss adult talk shows 24/7 !!!!!
ALSO only a few wires.... typical power and ground... which i cut off the cig lighter plug and wired a straight ground wire and a inline fuse on the power wire which simply plugs into your fuse box for power and then simply running the sirius antena wire from your roof under the rear window trim and into the trunk, under the weatherseal and thru the car to the unit and simply plug it into the radio.... then the 3rd wire is the antena wire which just run it close to your antena up high and your done.... just use the suction cup mount on the top corner of the windshield.....


if your thinking about buying a satelite radio.... this is a great unit for a few enjoyable features!
its not activated right now cause i had the units swaped... but a quick internet click or 1800 number call to sirius tell em your credit card info and adress and the ESN number thats on the radio and after wiring up the unit youll be listening to sirius satelite radio!

i loved this unit and still do love it BUT its just easier for me to work with one remote control and my touchscreen is nice touch for my new radio

i just wish i had my new tuner had that replay and store song feature!

NOW REMEMBER THIS IS A ADD ON UNIT...... SO IT DOESNT MATER WHAT KINDA RADIO YOU GOT! FACTORY OR AFTERMARKET... AS LONG AS IT HAS "FM RADIO" IT WILL WORK!

very easy to instal in any vehicle also... but the wire lengths are perfect for my 99 civic. but as long as your fuse box is under the drivers side dash it should fit.... but if you need a long wires... just add more wire to the power wire......






and since i kept my old antena you got 2 choices for the antena... doesnt mater to me which ever style you want...
this is the antena that came with the unit that is brand new never used!
the one is low profile... and the used one is alittle taller.
but solid black... which is more my style..

also FORGOT NEITHER ANTENAS COME WITH THE WIRE TRIM COVER..... SORRY JUST PUT THE ANTENA CLOSE TO THE REAR WINDOW SEAL AND YOU SHOULD BE ALRIGHT.

Honestly how's the sound quality comeing from the FM radio?

 

its great to me....... i have no complaints at all!
if you think its got a problem it has a audio output port, tho ive never used it.. no need!

i love this radio still... beats the hell outta my current indash model! cause my addon unit doesnt have replay feature which sucks!! and it doesnt have the memory feature to remember your favorite songs...

this unit is probably THE BEST unit you can buy!

and if the signal isnt very good then just change the frequince around a station thats not being used currently... but its never been a problem for me!


thiers no difference in SQ from this unit and my new hardwired unit!
