hey...i have a 12 inch kicker solo baric L5 and a coustic 401 se amplifier. The sub can handle over 600 watts rms. The amp is 400 watts rms(not max). The sub is in a kicker ported box makde specifically for the sub and finished with a black coating. Original price for the sub was 300 and the box was 120, the amp was 250 so im lookin at close to 700 total. Im lookin to grab about 400 outta this...and this does slam....recent decibel reading in a 4 door 97 civic was a 149....(hurts my ears and broke my mirror)
