I have a '95 Civic LX 1.5L with a bad head... you say yours appears good? I take it that means hasn't been tested etc? I'd hate to buy it in hopes to get my Civic back on the road only for it to have problems.

It should be just fine bro. There is absolutely no visible damage to it, and I've given it a good look-over. The only thing that I would expect to have to do (as you should with any used head) is get it milled so that you know the seal will be true.

Make sure you read-up an a mini-me conversion when you get this head. You will not regret it. Also should give you a good around 25hp bump in power, well worth it.

Im buildin a mini-me turbo... as long as you do it the right way, it will be as reliable as any other matched block/head.

There is a reason I told you that. I'm not going to go into detail in this thread, if you really want to know PM me.

Let it be known that the mini-me conversions have been done time and time again, and I've yet to hear of anyone who did the install properly running into problems.

I didn't imply problems. In his particular case I thought it wasn't rational to do a minime. Minimes are by all means reliable and should not be turned down if you need to change the head anyway.
