So theres nowhere around here that can weld aluminum that i can find, so i'm looking for anyone that can weld a small adapter plate onto my charge piping for my car. I'll send you my piping and adapter plate with an outline of where the plate should be welded, then you do the rest. I need the hole in the middle of the adapter plate cut out as well (so the air can come out through the hole/BOV ) so just let me know either with PM or on this thread, thanks!

well....yeah....? Looking around HKS, Edelrbock and GReddy all haveturbo kit's with aluminum piping....and i think i've asked both Sov and Tyler and they said something like THIS would be just fine as long as you get T-Bolts?

 

i know im new here , and wont be offended if youdont want me to , but i can weld aluminum . i work for a company called "custom exhaust specialties " in Bend oregon , as long as you wont be asking me every twenty minutes if ITS DONE YET?!?!IS IT DONE YET???IS IT DONE YET??..LOL....and can provide some relatively well drawn plans ..you can look us up online ..we do alot of mandrel bending ...but im also the guy who welds all the S.S. and aluminum ...anyway let me know ...and i'll get you the shipping info .

^ yea i think i could proabbly do that....its just a piece of piping, then i'll draw template of where the plate should be mounted, and you'll have the weld the plate on (alumnium to aluminum), then cut out the hole in hte middle of the plate, through teh charge piping (obviously so the air can come out through the plate/BOV. How much would oyu charge?

yeah sure , i think i can do that. Do you understand what i mean though? The plate has a groove cut out of it to fit around the piping, and then plate is a ring, and hte inside of the ring has to be cut out so the air can come through, understand? (not undermining your knowledge, just dont know if you know what i'm talking about )

 

yep , i think i got it ...we do these type of jobs all day long . i have a shop with about 500 k worth of equpit at my disposal ...mandrel bender , plasma tables , alum specific tig welder , you know the drill .
