Why not paint yours or send it in to be coated.

Just fyi, I did the same thing you are trying to do. You are looking for the valve cover off of a 92-95 si or ex d16z6 engine. Just wanted to let you know what they are off of so you can find one easier.

dito..... ebay place to buy BUT be warned... with a 92-95valve cover... they are aged more so ALOT more likely to corosion/piting on them... can still be sanded out smooth.... just takes alittle more look good...
but definatly alot cheaper.....
no clue why honda stoped puting Vtec on the valves covers in 96.LOL

If all else fails, just take a screwdriver to it and etch V.TECH into it. But make sure to leave out the "h."

Just out of curiosity, why does it HAVE to say VTEC? DOes it really matter? IMO that screams rice.

Guess thats just me....

well when showing off the motor its a good way to show that you do have Vtec under the hood instead of a nonVtec motor....
most people dont know what Vtec actually looks like. so instead of looking for the Vtec solenoid they just know it doesnt say Vtec.

to me it looks alot cooler than just a H and HONDA when polished/painted

YOU DECIDE... and i think it only looks rice when its painted crazy...

standard 96-00 valve cover...
