hey folks,

im a college student in central VA looking to buy a civic. i work at an aftermarket shop, so i can get lots of parts for good prices and ill do all the work, but I obviously need a car to start with. ive looked around on this site, and ive enjoyed what i see so far. plenty of good info, and i was hoping you all could help me out.

im looking for a reliable car first of all, i travel alot in college so i need something with decent mileage, hopefully something under 150k. that being said, i also only have about$5500 to spend. my goal is to find a decent civicfor as little as possibleand putmoney into it and make it "my own car."

i would like to do things such as wheels/tires, body kit, paint it, audio/video system, and my biggest hope is to turbo it. i personally dont like cars that try to "look fast" but have a stock setup. i am interested in performance, reliability, and looks.

if anyone has a car that could be a good start for this project, im interested. thanks so much!

ps - i have a 97 land rover discovery for sale. 3" lift, 32x11.50s, roof rack, brush gaurd, etc etc....

 

93 ex coupe. shell, $500, stripped, so really a bare shell. louisiana

 

I got a 92 civic hb with a d15b7 engine with automatic transmission, coilovers, new calipers & brakes, am putting a new transmission in it this weekend. want 3000 for it.

hey i gota 95' honda civic eg coupe im selling but it is automatice but comes with either a five speed tranny or a four speed tranny the four speed is cable and the five speed is hydrolic but it is a good starter car im asking $1,800 for it and if you got a shop that u r tryin to do all this stuff to the car in then this will be a good car for you.
