I dont see how you can say its a popularity contest. I won the ROTM way back in the day like the 2nd month after I joined when I had around 20 posts. Noone knew who I was and I had to link my old gallery in the nomination thread to even get nominated. If I remember correctly I won by a lot of votes.

my prowess came from sheer domination though. I generally keep my mouth shut. If someone doesnt like me they can **** off. flat out.....he was a dick. we never had major problems with voting or anything for that matter till he came along(atleast since i've been here). if i were a mod, i would ban him aswell for causing corruption in what has always been a fair and friendly site. cant blame the mods for tryin to keep everthing running smoothly, after all its what their there for..
