Its supposed to be some kind of school, where they teach you about becoming engineer and stuff...Yesterday some guys came to our Auto Technology class and gave a presentation...I was wondering if any of you guys were in it?

 

commericals are always on about that school. university of tech. institute? just a place to learn about technichal stuff?

Another trade school...good place to learn with hands on time....i am studying Mechanical Engineering and you learn alot more tech info and theory without the hands on...if you want to expand your mind or become a mechanicgo to uti...if you want to make a career out of it as an engineer go to university...tho i will say i kind of want to go there for that hands on time and workspace (access to so many cool tools)

 

i know some ppl that went to the nascar part of it IMO they are complete idoits and dont know any thing about most cars i worked with

one of them i hated him i was so happy when he quit cause he could not do anything right half the time when he would change oil he forgot

the filter damn that was a mess.....i seen one of there info tv shows the other day and they said they would teach u hondas V-TECH i could not stop laughing

the South Harmon Institue of Technology is really good i've heard....

 

as a UTI grad i can say that thwy were overpriced when i went (19k for auto diesel). not to mention its hard for most to learn about certaint aspects of the automotive feild in 3 short weeks. my vote for trade schools goes to wyo tech. better teachers, facility, and they give you the opportunity for the info to sink in.
