Can anyone reccomend a good photo editing software that i can get for free? i want to start playing around with some graphic design, but Photoshop is way to expensive for playing around.

if you dont want to break the law...you can get Photoshop Elements for free...its the basics of Photoshop...its all i have. my friend bootlegged Photoshop and when i was at his house i didnt find myself spending much time fooling with the stuff i didnt have on Elements.

 

You think photoshop is expensive, try looking at Maya 5. Its the software that lucas arts use to make there special effects. Im using tht at the mo.

but i now own a bootlegged copy of Flash, Photoshop 2, and Fruity Loops...totaling about 1.8k in software :P

Maybe you could send one of em to sacicons.

 

You could try the gimp. its very simular to photoshop but its free. Plus you car run it on almost any platform.
