Default 15's on a sedan?

Just wondering your opinions on how a sedan would look with aftermarket 15's? Ive rolled on 17's and 14's, and the smaller the better (as we all knew). But im worried for the asthetic side of things, whether 15's would look too small or not. I know that 16's would probably be ideal, but i can get a good deal on some 15's.....do u think id be dissappointed with them?

yea that does look nice.....i just dont think i can get that low, im as low as i can go on the backcoilovers and i can still get a finger in.... the front i could get to tuck but im not sure if i want a drag racing stance with the front down and back uploleven though that might look sick, i dno if im willing to take that chance. But then again i do have a much fatter tire.....if you had to guess, what dimensions do u think the tires are in either of those pics? (both look the same to me) I usually see 15's with a lot more rubber than those (yours for example lol)

the right size tire u'll want is 195/55R15. i kno that blue civic is on 205/50R15 tires. the green one looks like its prolly the same, 205/50R15.

195 and 205 are numbers representing the width of the tire from side wall to side wall in mm. so technically a 205 tireis wider than a 195 tire. BUT some tires section widths can be similar. some 195 tires can have a section width wider than some 205 tires. section widths can vary depending on wheel width and tire aspect ratios.

u'll be fine with a 195 width tire. the difference will hardly be noticable and u wont have to worry as much about rubbing.

yea i knew what the numbersmeant on 17's, i learned the hard way with 215/45/17 on the civic lol. Much too wide and much too thick. I just get confused with the smaller sizes cuz all the ratio's change, since my 14's are 185...logically 195 would be wider....but not neccassarily on a 15 inch wheel because we rnt workin with the same number to start off lol Thanks for the explanation though, i just want as lo pro as i can get....rubbing is no fun

I run 14" alloys on my '00 sedan, with wider and lower-pro tires (195/60-14s) than the stock 185/65-14s. The tires look like donuts. Go with 16s if they're within your budget. They generally handle better. If you get lightweight rims like Rota Slips, you can actually end up with lighter wheels than stock. I'd go with UHP 205/45-16s for tires. They're similar diameter to stock 6th-gen tires while being wider and having shorter sidewalls for less deflection.
