If it is an 06 go with 18". 16" is way too small.

no way. the 06s arent any bigger than EKs, and are possibly smaller (at least they look smaller) than 7th gens

you guys are awesome. i was expecting to get replys like... 18s... or 17s.... you get the idea, but to have all of this from a rim question is awesome. it shows you are truly passionate about your vehicles. i appreciate the posts, keep them comin. im still debating my options.

ooo youve never seen a Turbo/SC debate or a CAI/SRI debate. those are always fun.

Sorry but I'm going to disagree with most of you... most of the 06 models come with 16" wheels. The Si comes with 17" and you can upgrade to 18" HFP wheels.

The "Don't Go Above 16" answers are coming from 6th gen owners, who had 14" or 15" wheels stock. On those Civics going up to a 16" wheel will give you 45 series tires (which is still a comfortable ride). On the 8th gen models a 17" wheel also gives you 45 series tires.

Wow, I really wanted to argue there, but I looked it up and you're actually right...

i got 18s, they look nice but they are a beeeyatch to find cheap tires for if you get a flat, and the ride sux hard!!! and I had to roll my fenders into the engine bay almost lol

bah, the stock wheel diameter has nothing to do with my choice to run 16's. It's all about not having to sacrifice ride quality for an aggressive car.
