Default 17's on 00 dx hatch

Hey I have been wanting to get the Konig Unknown rims for my car and the smallest I can find them in is 17's. Does anyone know if these will fit on my car? If yes there are a couple different sizes anyone know what I should get and what size of tires should I wrap around them? If not will 16's work? Any reason why I should get 16's over 17's or vice versa?

By the way this is a daily driver that gets mostly freeway miles and college parking lot miles on it......if that matters.

well the main difference between 16-17" is performance vs. show

16" has more rubber for better performance
17" has thinner walls so not the best idea if you want to use it for like autox.

if i were you, i would go with 16" just cuz they can still look sexy and keep the performance.

Ride quality is usually the term I use. If you want to rock bigger, heavier, 17's because they look cool, great. But be prepared for a bit of a bumpy ride. 16's look damn good, and you can put more rubber on them to keep your ride comfort.

I was leaning towards the Konig Troubles but I like the Silver lip around the Montegi's as well.....since I would be happy with both I am just asking yall which you think would look the best.

The car is a 2000 silver dx hatch.....I dont have pics of the car up yet anywhere.

what do yall think?

Also for lugnuts did everyone spend like 120+ on lugnuts so they could have the locking kind? Is there somewhere I havent looked yet? It seems a bit high to me for just lug nuts. It is a good idea to get the locking ones right?

Links would be good.

This is probably not the answer you're looking for, but, I don't like any of the wheels you posted.

IMO: if you're still on stock suspension, stick with 16s. 17s on stock suspension will give you more wheelgap than tire, and it looks lame
