Default 2 inch drop on springs and stock shocks

I have searched and never got a real clear answer. If I just do a 2 inch drop all around just srpings on stock shocks will I need to get new shocks? if so I got some in mind. also do i need to purchase all 4 shocks or just 2...every place i se sells them for about 80 each and im trying to stay within my 300 budget.

I jusy want something for a DD and still have some good performance aspects.
Thanks

ok cool. really!? wow and thats my concern. I have a body kit and really dont wann mess it up.. but 2 inches would fill the gap better...how big is your gap?

yeah u'll want to replace the shocks. easier and cheaper to just do it all at once. u'll need all 4.

Ground Control makes coilovers and they use Eibach springs on them. their also quite a bit more expensive then ur run of the mill springs. dropzone's are junk, for an extra ~$100 u can get Tein S-Techs brand new. probably the cheapest decent shocks u'll find would be the Tokico blues or the KYB GR2's. parts are more expensive for ur generation so u may want to up ur budget a bit.

If u have a kit on and its urr dd i would go with tein s tech's and tokico struts....thats gonna run u prolly about 500 on ebay just make sure there the real ones and not fake...but keep in mind u will need a camber kit if u dont already have one...

But if ur on a really tight budget u could get by with just springs on stock struts only if u getn tein springs...
