Default 2007 Si wheels on an LX

I just purchased a set of 07 Si wheelsfor my 07 LX coupe.Turns out the calipers are different between the Si & LX andone of the front wheels rubsthe caliper by just a fraction of an inch, the other clears with justpaper thin clearance.Has anyone ran into this problem? Arespacers the proper solution? It seems that about 2mm would be plenty, but I am not surehow much clearance is recommended to allow for heat expansion or other variables. Would shaving 2mm off thecalipers cause problems? I do not want to compromise the safety or reliability of my civic but I sure like the looks of the Si wheels!

Depending on "where" the grinding is on the caliper....grinding some aluminum off of the caliper is a better plan than a spacer. No spacer = keeping the wheel under the fender where it belongs.

Yeah, shaving calipers is a prettyeffective practice, as long as it's not shaved from critical areas.
