205/45/r16 what psi should i run at?
i have a civic with eiback pro 1.5" loweringsprings,205/45 r16 tires on 16 inch rims, and when i got them the people never told me what to keep the tirepsi at. when i first checked the psi, they were 32 in the front and 45 in the back. is this overinflated? they say 60 max on the side, but what should i keep the psi at. does it change with the stiffer springs that i have?

With this size tire I would think your not really looking for a "soft ride" No one knows better what pressure to run, than the people that make the tire.
Look on the tire and max it out. Temp and treadware ratings are gotten with the tire at max pressure. Again, if you need a soft ride, step down in size.
You run a tire with a low aspect ratio, low on air.....trouble soon follows.

do NOT run 60psi on the street...sh*t ppl that autox dont even run 50psi on better designed tires.i normally ran ~42psi on my 205/50R15 Azenis for racing and their max was 50psi. my team mate with a '99 SI on205/40R16 ran KDW2's at~40psi for racing. for street we drop it ~5psi. pressure goes up as tires heat up, a cool tire may read 32psi but after driving around town on a summer day, it can jump to ~36psi.

Most people are clueless when it comes to inflating their tires properly for the street. You basically want the best combination of gas mileage and even wear, while not exceeding the max. The max PSI is usually stamped on to the sidewall of the tire. DO NOT EXCEED THIS MAX.
Your ideal PSI has to be figured for your individual application. The sticker in the doorsill is just a guideline. Differences in construction can make a tire stiffer or softer than another of the same size. No tire mfr can recommend the ideal PSI for your application. They don't know how much your car weighs at each corner. They don't know how wide your rim is.
So how do you figure your ideal pressue? CHALK. Before driving that day, chalk each tread and roll the car a few feet in a straight line. If the chalk wears off on the inside, lower the PSI. If the chalk wears off on the outside, raise the PSI. If the chalk wears off evenly, you're in the correct PSI range for even treadwear. For the best combination of even treadwear and good MPG, inflate the tire to the maximum PSI in the correct range. This will also help the tire to run cooler than if it is under-inflated.
